Amy and our girls entered their first triathlon with friend Kristin and her daughters. The kids went first doing a 50 yard swim in Lake Ottawa followed by a 1 mile bike ride and a 1/4 mile run. The ladies' event was the next day and was much longer...a 400 yard swim followed by a 15 mile bike ride and a 5K run. Thanks to the support of family and friends, they raised $761.54 for the Diabetes Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Racine County Annual Golf Outing - 2021
Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave decided to make Sophia's Promise and JDRF the recipients of his Charity Golf Outing. What a wonderful day and almost $20,000 was raised. Can't thank enough all the staff at Racine County that worked so hard putting this event together.
LDMS Student Activity Night - 2012
This was the second year the Lake Denoon Middle School gymnasium was
transformed into an inflatable arena and included a dunk tank and pie
throwing contest. Thanks to the support of the students, faculty and
staff, almost $2,000 was raised for JDRF.
The Morning Blend - 2014

The Morning Blend - 2015
Sophia came back to talk with Molly and Tiffany about her experiences as the JDRF Children's Congress Delegate. She made another visit virtually to The Morning Blend in 2021 to talk about her artwork. So thankful for their support!
Slam T1D - 2017
Sophia got to throw out the first pitch at s a softball game at Racine Case High School. The team raised $1,600 for JDRF to support their efforts to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and Slam T1D.
LDMS Project i Student Walk - 2016
Lake Denoon Middle School Project i organized their own Walk and raised around $1,000 for JDRF. What an amazing bunch of kids!
